All very nice and I am sure something I could/should embrace, but this strikes me as being too organized for comfort.
LibraryThing blog http://www.librarything.com/blog/ has potential to keep up to date, but a bit like more of the same.

We have incorporated LibraryThing into our public catalogue. When you do a search of the catalogue you also get other suggested reads of similar genres (and this is all supplied by people who use LibraryThing) It means we rely on how people tag their books, but it is currently working well
